Bauer has produced more End-Of-Line xEV battery test controls than any company in North America.

Bauer is producing completely scalable, flexible EOL battery test systems that can grow with your business. That’s because we’ve designed test controls & equipment that can handle model variations & new parameters with ease.

We’ve applied our test technology know-how to module & pack EOL tests. Bauer easily integrates cyclers, megohm & milliohm testers, ground bond tests, custom connectors & cooling systems with CAN-controlled process testing that ensures your batteries meet stringent requirements. Plus, we log all the data, so you know exactly what’s going on.


Hybrids
Whether passenger car or industrial trucks, Bauer can design the right test strategy.

Bauer PCS is used for verifying the proper assembly and functionality of two-mode hybrid transmissions. PCS continuously reads transmission state information, continuously controls the transmission, and writes calibration data at the end of the test through the CAN interface. The synchronization of the electric motors and planetary gearsets of the two-mode hybrid must be carefully managed to protect the integrity of the transmission components.

In Process Verification
IPV stations can be integrated with the test database, making SPC & notification of these stations a snap.

Leak testers, torque guns, press fits, vibration monitoring, gauging & profiling stations contain valuable information about the assembly process, but are often “one-off” independent solutions.

Bauer can help you integrate these independent stations as part of an overall strategy for process improvement using our simplified test controls for IPV stations throughout the manufacturing process. We can improve the overall strategy for SPC monitoring and notification, data management, and process improvement.
